Dart Tennis

The game can be played with any darts scoreboard app, which supports the use of custom points.

This party game takes great inspiration from tennis, specifically regarding the scoring system. Similarly to tennis, Dart Tennis is played in matches. Every match consists of sets, every set consists of games and every game consists of points. In order to win a game, the player must have at least 4 points and must lead the opponent by more than 2 points. To win a set, the player must have at least 6 game wins and lead the opponent with more than 2 game wins. If the set score is 6-6, then a tiebreaker is played to determine the winner.

The game of Dart Tennis is played with one player serving and the other player receiving. The starting player will perform a serve by throwing 3 darts for high score. The receiver must throw the same score or higher to return the serve. If the return is successful, then the starting player must throw the same score or higher in order to retaliate. This will continue until one player fails to reach the target score, giving the opponent a point. Similarly to tennis, the serving player changes after every game win.

In club events, matches are played usually in smaller sets and best-of-one and best-of-three set format, also games are won by being the first to reach 4 points.
